Is AM mode allowed on 160 - 12m in Germany?
Re: Is AM mode allowed on 160 - 12m in Germany?
Hi ED ... its not allowed ... National rule (BNeztA rule) said max. is 2.x kc´s ... That means that AM is not allwed on all Ham Bands (excluding 10m) ... On 10 m we have the only band in DL where you can use AM ... Above 29 MHz ..

Hello Ed,
why do you not use H3E ?
I believe most of others (using a modern TRX) do same - Full Carrier + 1 Sideband -> see your TRX-Manual ! And have first a look on schematics ]
typical you will find a DSB modulator ; a carrier can later be added ...
And H3E needs 100..300 Hz more Bandwide thann J3E
..it is all AM (cw... J3E, H3E ...)
